I have already sent part of this privately......but now I have more
information!

Deloris Strzyzwski was born in Milwaukee.....lived on Harrison Street. Her
parents had a grocery store at the time...they lived in the back. Sometime
after she was 3 yr 1923 or 24....they no longer had the store and they moved
into a regular house at the time it was called 12th Ave. - Now known as 17th
Street. When she was 7 her mother died in an operation. At 8 her father
died of a cerebral hemmorage. She and her brother went to the St. Joseph's
Orphanage run by nuns. Around age 10 her 1/2 sister Anna m. Orville Brunelle
and took them to live with them. Deloris eventually married a Brunelle.
Once married she move to Hermansville, Michigan and Powell and Spaulding,
Michigan.

Deloris's mother was born in Warsaw, Poland...came here when she was 9 months
old. Her father was born in the USA...Deloris does not remember his parents.
(We assume they are the ones that came from Poland)

We suspect grandma's spellings are not correct ( she insists they are as they
appear this way on her birth certificate)......I was told by someone on this
board that these are what I should be looking for:

Strzyzwski should be STRZYZEWSKI
and Juzwiakoswski JUZWIAKOWSKI or JOZWIAKOWSKI.

I am NOT looking forward to starting this project! I have learned enough
from the Polish surname board to know that I am going to be in BIG
trouble....with such a small amount to go on!

If any of this looks familiar to anyone, I would appreciate any assistance!

Beverly
