Janice,
How about anything you'd buy for a baby here? I'd stick with warm
clothes or a blanket. The winters are longer and colder.
Send it by surface. If you send it soon it will probably only take 4
weeks. If you wait much longer, it will be after Christmas. Surface mail
is cheaper than airmail though it does take 4 times as long. Take that
into account if you buy clothes (get a bigger size). Also, the biggest
expense when sending items to Poland is the postage/shipping so consider
the weights of things when you consider buying them. If you think you'll
continue to buy something for the baby every once in awhile, keep an eye
out for good sales.

Question 3: Any suggestions as to what would be a good gift for this
new Pole, since it will have to be mailed from Florida? Thanks for all
your help. Janice
