Lora,
I searched for Jo~zef on the Auschwitz database. There is a Jozef
SZCZOTKA listed but the birth date doesn't match your information.

There is also a Karolina SZCZOTKA, lived in Szare, old woj.
Bielsko-Bial~a.
Karolina was born Dec. 28, 1900 and died November 18, 1943 in
Auschwitz.

Szare is very near Milo~wka. I think Milo~wka would be the parish for
Szare. Karolina was born in So~l, old woj. Bielsko-Bial~a which is south
of Milo~wka.

I didn't find a Weronika Witos but there is a Bornisl~aw Witos listed as
being born in Milo~wka, June 15, 1922 and died November 29, 1943.

Here is the searchable site:
http://www.auschwitz.org.pl/szukaj/index.php?language=PL&tryb=bz_szukaj

Just type in a surname in the box, nazwisko. You don't need diacritical
marks.

You might consider checking other death camps and also the Polish Red
Cross: http://www.pck.org.pl/index2.html

You might also send a letter to the parish in Milo~wka and ask about
your ancestors. It is possible they survived or their lives ended in the
village. It is also possible that if your ancestors were killed by the
Nazis their names might be listed on a plaque in the church or village.
