Hi LeAnn:
Regarding some of the names in your post: Budny (Budney) show up in my
family tree, from the former: Trybuchowce, Buczacz, Galicia. (Also,
Genowefa is the common Polish spelling for this female first name.)

Subject: [POLAND] Boditska
I am assisting a friend of a friend with her family research but am having
difficulty even finding the maiden name of her maternal grandmother. I
have checked Ancestry, Footnote, Family Search, Google and a few others and
have come up with nothing. Any suggestions.....Her name was
Boditska....Annie Boditska she married Stanley Budney. Anyone ever
researched this name? Also, Annie and Stanley lived around West Virginia
and PA most of their lives from what I was told.
Here is the information her granddaughter sent me:
Stanley Budney (son of Joseph and Josephine (Popski ) of Poland) married
Annie Boditska, She died in 1917 when there was an outbreak of the flu, they
had 3 children, Genofeffa Aka Jennie, Born Dec. 2, 1912, Vitium aka Walter &
Jane aka Edith. They are supposedly all 2 years apart, but not sure of
birth years. She also had a brother Roman Baldyski who was killed in action
in France July 17, 1918 he was a member of Company H, 4th Infantry. My
Grandfather married again not sure when to Stella Pesta, I think she may
have been from New Kensington or Carnegie PA.
My Mother: Genofeffa was born in Ansonia, Connecticut , Physician was Louis
E. Cooper MD. 416 Main St. She was baptized Dec. 15, 1912 St. Michaels
Church, Derby Connecticut, by Rev. Joseph Studzinski her sponsors were:
Ladislaus Dresvelus & Aprollonia Zebrowska . Not sure where her brother or
sister were born. After their mother died an aunt raised Jane aka Edith, my
mother and uncle did not meet her again until they were adults.
Thanks in advance.....
LeAnn Cook
