Hi All,

I am also new to the list (probably most of us are!).

I am researching the following:

DAVID GRIFFITHS, born in Llanelli in 1860, and was in the Swansea Police force in 1881 until about 1910. He reached Acting Inspector (not sure how high this is)
I know a couple of stories about him but would like to find out more.
One story is that he had to pull the body of a 12 year old boy out of Swansea docks who had drown, to find that it was his own son Griffith.

Also,

LESLIE THOMAS HILL of Swansea served around about 1930. Was in the police and the Military Police in WW2.
