Well I'm sure glad that problem has been solved. Dad had written this name
everywhere in his books. Glad to here it wasn't a dream. Now to find Samuels
connection to both the Hederick women. I feel for sure it will be there. Just
wish I could make the trip this year to Germany. That would be heaven.
Have been going back thru all the obits. that I've been typing and have found
a lot of Polens in them. Hope I put them all on the site. There married name
being Poland in their parents obit. Helen hasn't updated the sight for over a
month due to her sons accident and her father dying. I sent her 42 pages to
add and have another one just as larger now.
This is a real bad time for her. My heat goes out to her.
Have now about 21500 names in my data base. Have gotten to work more on
entries this summer. Really haven't been adding that many obits. Will be in
Greene Co. this week some time. Am getting several more scrap books that I
can hopefully use as ref. for some of the obits. I have that have parts cut
off or can't read. I printed off all the obit. I have typed and will have to
go to another 3 in. 3 ring notebook by fall. If anyone needs a certain last
name I'll be happy to E-mail you that group od obits I already typed. Have
really gotten organized this year. A shoe box handles the obits. I've typed.
A 4ft X 4ft. plastic container holds the ones I have yet to get done. They
are all in seperated envelopes, alphabetized. Still have some S's and W's to
sort out. Just in time to bring on a new batch.
Have been so excited meeting people. Several have stopped here and gotten new
updates. Several get in contact with me weekly and my tree is bursting apart
at the seems. Am meeting family from California this week in Bridgeport from
California that are kin to my grandmother, Laura Nelle. They are part of my
Wiley line. Looking forward to seeing them. My Wise line friend, well I
missed him. He was in Fairmont this summer and too much was happening. Will
always regret missing Jack. Did get to meet Ernie Shane from California. He
also stems from the Wiley line. Also met Ted McClelland, a Poland line and
Bill Poland.
Still am hoping to meet Don Poland. Haven't heard from him lately. Sure hope
he's having a great summer and noticed that Gail Meeks had a new grandbaby.
You all take care. This spot has been quiet too long. Thanks for the update
Jane....Laura Nelle
