Caro Manuel

Segundo o "Dicionario Heraldico y Nobiliario de los Reinos de España " Liori
é um antigo apelido da Catalunha de onde um ramo saíu para Valencia, e que
terá tido grafias mais remotas como Lihori ou Lliori.

Achei documentado no sec. XIII um magnata aragonês D. Furtado de Lihori. O
texto em inglês do livro "The Crusader Kingdom of Valencia", diz "Lihori or
Lion family".

Pergunto: Lihori seria o nome da cidade de León em algum dialeto da época?
Ou seria uma outra localidade, que não consigo encontrar?

1.Villar del Arzobispo :
Su historia se remonta a los romanos e iberos, empezando a tener su
florecimiento con los arabes en el 711, su primera ubicacion fue a 5 Km del
actual Villar, en la partida "La Torre", perteneciendo asi la poblacion al
Reino Moro de Valencia, conquistado este por D. Jaime I de Aragon, la
poblacion es donada al Obispo de Valencia, que a su vez la vende a D.
Hurtado de Lihori (Uno de los 380 Caballeros que acompañaron al Rey Jaime I
en la conquista de Valencia), ......

2. Arquivo da Catedral de Valencia: " Arch. Cath., perg. 2,367, cf. note 114
(Oct. 1, 1271): "nos Frater Andreas...assensu capituli Valencie vendimus et
concedimus vobis Furtado de Alihori militi...et Egidio Roderico filio vestro
tantum [,] totam decimam panis, vini, arborum et aliorum fructuum omnium
quam nos habemus...excepta decima bestiarii, de turribus et alcheriis de
Cot, de Villar, de Xera et terminorum suorum, que loca sunt vestra." The
diocese would succeed the Lihori or Lion family in ownership of Villar (del
Arzobispo, or de Benaduf) here at least by 1308. Was some such transfer
envisaged when this agreement was signed? "
(We, Brother Andrew,...with the consent of the chapter of Valencia, sell and
grant only to you Furtado de Lihori knight...and Giles Roderick your son the
whole tithe of bread, wine, trees, and all other fruits which we
have...except the tithe on livestock, in the fortified rural areas of Sot,
Villar, and Chera, which you hold).
(The tithes of Sot, Chera, and Villar were given to the Aragonese magnate
Furtado de Lihori in 1271).
