According to Meyers gazetteer...
Gembitz, village of 627 persons and doma"ne (gov. estate) of 400 persons,
Kreis Czarnikau, Posen.
Civil registration office was in Sarben. It had a Protestant church and
some mills.
There was a Gembitzhauland nearby, as well.
(There were 'Gembitz's also in Kr. Mogilno and Kr. Gostyn.)
Jankendorf, village of 827 persons, Kreis Kolmar, Posen.
Civil registration office was in Busdin. It had a Protestant church.
