Hello Reference Librarian in Ripon, WI
From another reference librarian, this one from Green Bay, WI = now retired and
living in Sunny Orlando for 18 years. I have done a lot of research for a
relatives family in the films for Wirsitz. I gave her the book which includes
the numbers of the films I used, but neglected to keep copies of that for
myself. The records were very hard to read, being negative copies and I was told
(when I complained) that they were the best copy available.
We traveled through Wirsitz and saw the church, the records of which I copied.
What a thrill. We got inside and later talked to two ladies who went to church
there. Of course, it is now a Catholic church- attended by Polish. Does this
help at all?
