I don't know if this will help or not, but I found this website on the Poland
Genweb. The link is Par
ish addresses PolandGenWeb The page starts out with the statement
"Obtaining Polish Records". Scroll down to where it says Church Records.
There is a link that says Finding Parish Addresses. Click on that. On this
page there is a link called Locating Parishes. Follow the instructions. Make
sure you click on the English flag on the following page after the
instructions. There is an "Old Voivodship" ? and a "New Voivodship" ?
Voivodship = ?? =Diocese??? Anyway, this will take you to a list of
Voivodships. Each voivodship has a list of parish names and addresses with
the cities listed. Although I haven't found the name of the parish in
Janowitz/ Janowiec Wielkopolski of my family, there are hundreds of names and
addresses of parishes, depending on what voivodship you click on to. Hope
this helps someone.
