Hi Robin,
The pairing "-iak" with "-ka" exists in Polish, and the pairing of "-ski" with
"-ska". The ones with the "-a" are used for females and are not really a
separate surname. The "non-a" variant is for males. The pairing of "-iak"
with "-ska" would not exist.
