Dear Gerd,

I found an Arthur Muellenheim in the 1910 Census living in New York City.
The records say he immigrated that same year and worked as a clerk in a
bakery. However, this person's age is listed as 38, which would mean he
would have to been born in 1872...much older than you have indicated. So, I
suppose this might be a different person.

I found a listing for Margarete Muellenheim in the Social Security Death
Index. The name is spelled differently, but the dates match. There is a
form letter one can send, requesting a copy of the application for the SS #,
which gives parents' names, etc.

Still looking!

Dear Lianne,

Thank you very much for your help. These are the right persons.
I presume that the age shown on the census form is wrong. All
details from Germany or Austria are known to me. What I would
like to have is the date of their marriage and the place where
Arthur died.

Most cordial regards from Luxembourg

Gerd Müllenheim
