Hello, all.

I was wondering if anyone else was searching Duesterhoefts from
Schokken. I have Christoph Duesterhoeft b. ca 1815 m. Anna Carolina
Trautmann (b. 18 Dec 1815 in a place the family calls Gross Hauland).
They had 9 children. According to the 1900 census, Christoph came to
the US about 1865, but there is no trace of him in his final locality of
Blue Earth County, MN until about 1879. I suspect that they may have
been in Wisconsin for awhile because there is a family of Duesterhoefts
in Green Lake and Marquette counties that repeat many of the same names.

I would be happy to discuss any Duesterhoefts from Schokken, however. I
am sure they are all related.
