I have recently found that my Great Grandfather Frederick Bannick, born
10 Aug, 1847 in Posen. He was born and raised a Lutheran. He
immigrated to the US in Aug. of 1864 with his brother Gotfried Bannick.
This is all that I know about him and his family. Has anyone in their
research in Posen came across the Bannick/Banick/Bonick family name in
Posen?
