Bette: Both of these are on Kartenmeister and Shtetlseeker. Bromberg
Stadt refers to the city of Bromberg, in Kreis Bromberg, now Bydgoszcz.
Searching on Kartenmeister as a German city name, you would use
Bromberg; as a Polish one, Bydgoszcz. Stadt is not actually part of the
place name, but indicative of it's "independent" status politically,
roughly speaking. Lochowice is the Polish spelling of Lochowitze (there
is an e on the end on Kartenmeister site). It is about 10km (give or
take) to the west of Bromberg.

Use www.pilot.pl and enter Lochowice and you can see the proximity.
