A few days ago I asked for a translation from German that was on a holy card
for the death of Stanislaus Miedzinski. But I am at a loss as to where to go
from here and I hope someone has some ideas.

I have some envelopes from Germany (no letters) with return addresses and I
am hoping this will lead me to family of Stanislaus.

Env. 1 Agnes Vogt
Dortmund, Dorstfeld
Planetenfeld, 33
Britische Besatzungs Zone
Deutschland

I am presuming this was shortly after WWII-cannot read the postmark- and
located in the British Zone of Germany. Also on another scrap of paper I
have Agnes Vogt youngest daughter. But is she the youngest daughter of
Stanislaus?

I have located Dortmund on mapquest and would like to know if there was a
large "Polish" population in that area. Was there a predominately Polish
Parish Church.

I was going to join the German Rootsweb list in hopes of help but it says
the language of this group is German so even if I did get an answer I would
not be aware or what help they could give. Any ideas???
