To all who are interested:

The University of Marburg is doing great efforts in researching the regional
differences in German language.
A very interesting link:
http://www.uni-marburg.de/sprache-in-hessen/sprachlandschaften_dt.html

This site is only in German but there are clickable samples of the same
phrase in different dialects ("Im Winter fliegen die trockenen Blätter in
der Luft herum").

Niederdeutsch = Low German
Hochdeutsch = High German (includes Mitteldeutsch = Middle/Central German,
Oberdeutsch = Upper German)

Unfortunately there is nothing recorded for the Posen area.
Hope this is of use for anyone.

Regards.

Thomas
