Hi,
Wonder if anyone came across these names.
I am trying to find any information about Justine Kuhn who was born in 1813.
She married Christian Griese who was born in 1806.
All these words were listed on the papers I have.
Posen, Poznan, Wirsitz & Bromberg I think another one was Freidrichshorst.
They came to America in 1854 according to son Julius Gray's 50th Wedding
Anniversary article.
They changed their name to GRAY sometime after coming to America. I don't
have any record of what ship they came on but they came with at least 5
children.
Two daughters are still listed as Griese in Princeton, WI. They are buried
in Princeton, Cemetery.
