MessageArleen,

Another Wagrowiec area family who ended up in Posen, Michigan! Why am I not surprised! Very well, let's write off list. Posen-L comes through once again, just like always. Wonderful group and site, thank you James, you are great.

Roger

Yes you answered the correct way :)
Funny thing is I was not going to put this on the Posen-L list but thought better since this family came from the Wagrowiec/Wongrowitz area. I know that just about all of Posen and the county of Presque Is. is a good precentage Prussian. And I think there are more families both German Prussians and Polish Prussians who settled the area.

I will start to write you off list since we will be dealing with a specific family.
Arleen
Numerous members of my family immigrated to Posen, Michigan starting in 1870. Many members still live there and in Rogers City and Alpena. I'm well aware of the Konwinski name. I'm working with several relatives, researchers themselves on our Posen, Michigan family's ancestries. These individuals might be able to help, and I'll try to help as well. We have a healthy network of others who might be able to assist you. Would you prefer we write to back and forth through the Posen-L group or privately?
