we find that it was in Kreis Obornik, but the churches of both faiths were
in Samter (town).
You are correct about Stowen, Kreis Kolmar/Chodziesen's state of records
(for Protestant anyway, which is your most likely match).
I'll try to add info about records, etc to the wiki articles in a few days.
