I have recently received the family bible, which has been passed down to me from my great aunts. It has information on the SCHOENROCKS. It has dates for birth and deaths of my great- grandparents, their siblings, and their parents. I have listed them below. I have been able to only track down two of the siblings of my great -grandmother, Marie.

Schoenrock parents: Friedrich August SCHOENROCK, born January 23, 1823; died March 16, 1891. Wilhelmine KRUGER born August 1, 1830; died November 24, 1902.

Children:

Friedrich August, born September 24,1856 and died July 28,1943 in Mt.Clemens, Michigan.
Pauline, born November 26, 1858; and died October 11,1925
Gustave, born November 7, 1860; and died September 17,1925
Julius, born September 11, 1862; and died April 9,1914
Ernestine born May 22,1864 and died August 13,1947 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan
Augusta born October 3,1865
Marie, my great-grandmother, born August 28,1867 and died October 23,1931 Mt. Clemens, Michigan
Wilhelm Adolf born February 13, 1870
Ewald born January 10,1872


I am assuming all were born in Ostrowke, Posen, Kreis Kolmar. I have started looking through the evangelical church records for Kolmar from FHC films. The birth place for Marie and Wilhelm were Ostrowke as I can make out from the birth records. Where would Ostrowke be? I have found emigration records for only Friedrich, Ernestine, and Marie. I assume the remainder stayed in Germany..I am not sure of the death date of Gustave as the obituary for Marie lists survivors as Gustave of Germany and Mrs.Augusta Schlaak of Germany. How do I go about finding more information about the other children as I have death dates but no places of death?
