Most of this research came to me by Danny Walker who's gr, gr, grandmother
was Izora Payton. Danny and I are trying to find the indian connection in
this family. My grandmother always told me she was part indian (Cherokee)
she was the daughter of Isiah Payton and Amanda Maxfield Payton.
I went to the Family History Center library of the LDS church here in town
and got alot of information on the Pryor's. I will be happy to share this
with you but it long and I would need to send it as an attachment; I would
have to send it to your e-mail address. If you would like me to do this
please let me know.
Hope this helps. Do you have a connection or information on the Payton's or
Maxfield's or Martin's?
Jackie
