I am new to the list and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Jeanene (Hudson) Mangone. I am in Fort Worth, Texas and I am researching my great grandmother Bertha Amy Powell who was born in 1888 and died in 1984. The only information I have is that she married Jesse Allen Hudson and that their daughter (my grandmother) was born in Erath Co in 1912. That isn't much to go on, I know but when I get a little more info I'll post it here in the hope someone can help me.
Until then I am looking forward to learning about Powell family history. Are all Powells related? I recently found out that there are probaly over 300 lines of Hudsons mostly unrelated. I am very new to genealogy so this is fascinating to learn.
