seeking any information on Western North Carolina Powell families,
particularly Burke County, North Carolina.

Avey (or Abbey) Elizabeth Powell was my 2nd great grandmother. She was born
about 1847 and died in Burke County in 1925. She married Dempsey Harper
LaFevers March 21, 1866.

Any help to her ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
