To any list member who might be wanting to correspond with me, please do so
by direct private e_mail for the time being.

Although not as severe as previously when Mike Hall posted an apology for
me, I am still having problems connecting to Compuserve. With pressure of
other matters I am having difficulty coping with the enormaous batches of
mail I get on the few occasions I do succeed in connecting.

I therefore plan to unsubscribe soon after posting this message.
