Hello listers,
I have some new information on the BRYAN family for anyone interested:

ROBERT BRYAN, lead mine manager,born in Plas y Pant, Eryrys near Llanarmon
yn Ial, had seven children born c 1820's

Joseph m. Jane TYNTWLL (5 children)
Edward m.Elinor DAVIES (4 sons John, Edward, Robert, Joseph)
Ann
Sarah
William
Robert
John

Edward was the Captain of 'Parc' mine ,Minera. John PARRY,Degwm, a
batchelor, was related in some way to the BRYAN family. One of the Parry's
had two wives, one of whom could have been a BRYAN, and may have been John
Parry Degwm,s mother.
I have been informed that a book on the BRYAN family by Sian Wyn Jones is
nearing publication. Sadly it does not cover the ancestry of Benjamin
BRYAN, my grandfather, but clearly Benjamin is the offspring of one of the
sons of Robert BRYAN,(senior) (possibly William, Robert or John). The
practice of taking the same names down the family line tends to make life
complicated!
Any other information on these connections much appreciated.
