Hello again Susan,
I thought to try the indices for your names:
HERSEE, Thomas D.Head<1840>SussKent
HERSEE, Thomas B.Son<1872>SussSuss
HERSEE, Jane HayleyHead<1823>Caer
HERSEE, Jane E.Niec<1869>KentKent
I'm afraid your Jane Haylee (with Evenjobb written on the side) is probably
your best bet.
I tried checking the entire index for EVENJOBB and EVANJOBB, and came up
with a blank. She may have come from Ireland?
