Brecknock was an attempt by the English to anglisize Brecon. There is no k in
the welsh alphabet. The SWB (South Wales Borderers) either are or were the
most highly decorated unit of the British military . Insultingly, some English
referred to them as the Silly Welsh Buggers mainly because they were jealous of
their courage and bravery.
