Angela

I'm surprised at the spelling 'Trefriew House'.

Trefriw is a small town 1.5 north-west of Llanrwst. I have never seen it
spelt any other way, although there is a Trefrew near Camelford in Cornwall.

You could try looking for 'Trefriew House' under Llandudno in the Postal
Address Book (Wales) which should be in your local library. The on-line
version of the Postal Address File (PAF) at
http://www.royalmail.co.uk/paf/pcodefin.htm is too hit-or-miss and can't be
relied on.

I think you should try to find John ROWLANDS' birth parish in the 1861,
1871 or 1891 census as there will be too many matching names in Anglesey?
