Elaine, I too often wish I'd learnt some Welsh years ago! To help your
pronunciation you could try this:following the fine advice of this List, I
bought that Brin Terfel CD that they were speaking of, a few weeks back. So
now I listen to a couple of songs at a time, using the little CD book that
comes with words in it, as a crib - it is improving no end my understanding
of elisions, sound changes and other complexities of the language! And the
CD is, as well, a continuing joy to listen to. Now I am off to visit my
Welsh-speaking dentist, who never minds explaining the hitherto insoluble
language problem! - Lois
