Hi Jan,

I don't wish to discourage any of our Welsh friends from writing their name
suggestions to you but as a supplement, why not have a look at the following
URL:

http://www.geocities.com/tamalyn_2001/welshbabynames.html

There at least a couple of pages of baby names AND their meanings or English
equivalent. A couple samples include Bethan, a diminutive of Elizabeth or
Catrin for Catherine.

http://www.geocities.com/tamalyn_2001/tamalyn1.html is a site for baby
names,
more than 2,000 and the owner claims to have just added 800 Welsh names. One
plus for this last site is that names are categorised between male and female.

Hope this helps and the best to your son and daughter-in-law from a western
neighbour.
