Hello Everyone,

I have re-subscribed again recently, and wonder if anyone can help me with
finding details of this couple or their descendants.

In 1881 Mary Ann Jones (Mother Mary Ann and Father John Jones) married
Thomas Jones at Rhayader (Vol 11b page 171 in March Quarter 1881)

The 1881 census shows them living at Pentalkey ( Pentylke?) with her
Grandmother Margaret Jones (born Abbey Cwm Hir, Radnorshire - aged 81).
Mary Ann's birthplace is shown as St. Harmon. Thomas' birthplace is shown
as Tredegar, Monmouth England.

We believe this is the same couple with their family

Thomas Jones Head M 45 Colliery Tipper above ground born Monmouthshire

Mary Ann Jones Wife M 41 born Radnorshire Rhayader
Clara J Jones Dau S 19 born Monmouthshire Bedwellty
Evan T Jones son S 17 Coal Hewer born Glamorganshire Daylaven (? - hard to
read)
Frank J Jones son 14 Coal Hewer born Glamorganshire Abercanied
David C Jones son 11 born Monmouthshire Bedwellty
Elizabeth A Jones dau 11 born Monmouthshire Bedwellty
William Hy, Jones son 7 born Monmouthshire, Bedwellty
Margaret H. dau 2 born Monmouthshire, Bedwellty

Mary Ann Jones is the half sister to my Grandfather William Evan James, who
came to Australia and settled in Queensland in 1878.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may be connected.
