Hello Kmo,

Vera has special powers it seems, a complete Regt on the march here for the
first time ever - was a "Rads Coup" planned perhaps? That will be treason in
Powys!

I have MGY family interests for myself back to "LLani " in 1573 it seems, re
Elizabeth 1 and her father, re former Monastic lands between Strata Florida
and Abbey Cwmhir
taken over by the Crown and leased to Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester. See
the Rowlands book, "2nd Stages of Welsh Ancestry", etc. But they may go back
even to the Normans by some records!

There seems to be some silent rift berween MGS and PFHS in some way?? We do
not get many MGY people on this net really. I was at Tan House, Trefeglwys,
last week - the 1841 home of my John and Mary Cleaton, who married in 1796. I
find it difficult to go much further back, but the Bill Barker CD for old "MGY
Families 1675-1825" is very good for 550 of them, with many BT's listed too.

See you again soon,

Dennis Cleaton, Rads.
