Hello Annette

I have the following on the 1851 census of Crickhowell, Brecknockshire,
Parish of Llanfihangel Cwm du (which includes Tretower), The family here
(living at the Griffin Inn) seem to fit in with some of your facts; they
are: PROSSER: James hd. umn. 22 Innkeeper born Llyswen; Elizabeth 28 sister
unm (no birthplace given); Ann 24 sister unm born Llandefalle; Thomas father
m. 61 Butcher*; Ann mother 44, born Llyswen.
*Father's birthplace is given as unknown, but also says Eckley Michael which
could mean Michaelchurch Escley which is in Herefordshire.

I have recently found an ancestor, Elizabeth Prosser, who was baptised in
Llyswen in 1817 and whose father was Thomas Prosser, a quarryman. I think
her mother must have died and father married again, this time to an Ann.
There's a chance he may still be alive and living in the Glasbury/Llyswen
area in the 1841 and 1851 Census.

Would anyone have access to these records who could tell me if he's there
with any of his family please?

I'd be very grateful!

Annette Reynolds
