I know some of you realise the online documents and indexes are on the
National Library of Wales site. Very useful, marriage bonds for example.
You can now order the documents online for viewing when you arrive next
day. You do have to have your reader ticket though with ticket number,
first 4 letters of Surname... JONE in my case, and also your password.

You can order up to 10 documents. Advantage is you don't have to wait
half hour or so for documents, they will be at the document desk when
you arrive at 9-30am! Wills are being added and everything eventually on
a pay-on-line basis.

I wish I had known about that earlier as I had ordered documents
relating to Patagonia only to find some were unreadable and in Welsh and
Spanish language mostly.

The library is now better layed out. The staff are, as usual very
helpful and knowledgeable. I was told off for speaking out loud on a few
occasions and one of my party continually called one of the staff Chris,
although his name was Cyril!

best regards
