Dear John,
You found it--Cwmgynfin! As you suggested, I found the map section on the
Get-A-Map Web site. For the first time, I also found Pen-yr-Heol (Penrheol).
I'm surprised that Cwmgynfin and Pen-yr-Heol seem to be in the parish of
Glasbury, even though they are much closer to Talgarth.
==================
Dear Rick,
The Penyrheol to which I referred in my previous e-mail is a farm -- it is
*not* the site of the Baptist Chapel.
Penyrheol Baptist Chapel is at SO209359, close to another farm named
Pen-yr-heol on the OS Explorer map. On the Get-a-Map website, the chapel is
marked by a black cross [ + ]. The chapel is 2½ miles northeast of the
Penyrheol Farm near Cwmgynfin. I have some photos of Penyrheol Baptist
Chapel which I can send you as attachments if you wish.
Cwmgynfin and its neighbour Penyrheol Farm are in the parish of Talgarth.
They are *not* in the parish of Glasbury, but Penyrheol Baptist Chapel and
its neighbour, the other Penyrheol Farm, *are* in the parish of Glasbury (in
the township of Tregoyd and Velindre).
Kind regards,
John
