Hi Listers

I am at last receiving list messages again, having missed everything for
about a week - possibly more. So now that I'm back - I have TWO questions.

Does anyone have access to Llandinam BTs and/or PRs?? Or Bill Barker's MGY
CD?

I would like to find the parents of Richard DAVIES or DAVID and Rachel
WILLIAM(S) who married at Llandinam on 25 May 1745. They were my 5xgreat
grandparents

I suspect that both surnames are patronymic so we may be looking for baptisms
for a Richard son of David ----- and a Rachel dau of William ------.

My other question is about Margaret LEWIS bapt 2 June 1797 in Nantmel dau of
Thomas LEWIS. I think this is the Margaret who married my 3xgreat grandfather
Edward DAVIES in about 1820. Her age is right, the place is right but I have
not found the marriage to confirm her surname as LEWIS. Both E & M were born
in Nantmel according to census returns.

Does anyone have any info on this LEWIS family, eg Thomas' wife, Mgt's
siblings, a farm name?? Would be very grateful for any help with this and the
above-mentioned brickwall.

Many thanks,
Best regards, Ruth
PS. I have missed my POWYS mail!!!!!
