Its me hogging up this list again.

Thanks for your comprehensive reply Barrie, I do appreciate more
experienced input.

Makes sense, and local history explains things somewhat. You make it
all seem so logical, and I need to quit trying to look at things
through 2005 eyes.

The Howell's and Davies's may have married into the

Now you got the hardest laugh out of me yesterday! Family research
brings out a warped sense of humour ....

Question: does this thing ever end? Does anyone ever say, I've
finished my family research? Somehow, I suspect not and it should
come with a warning before anyone decides to embark on this ...

makes sense ...

. You will have to check

Okay I get the message, I need to go and hunt down the baptism
records. Does anyone actually know where St Micheal's stuff is
deposited (if it is?)

I could contact the vicar and ask, same one for Llanidloes as
Trefeglwys. My mother as an organist, has additional uses.

Will put it on my list of things to do.

Pah. Well if everything fits, why tip the apple cart?

Edward Ashton - am I meant to know about him?

Seriously, if I do get in the direction of these archives before
anyone else, then I will have a look. Did I ever mention, old
handwriting scares me?
