Hi Kevin,
I think the influenza was rife in 1918, in fact many hundreds of Canadian
soldiers based at Kinmel Camp near Abergel, died of this and there is a big
cemetry for them.
My family came from Abergele and five of them died of this including my
Grandmother and my Great Grandmother.
