It is sad that I have to announce the death of my aunt Willie Mae
Prather.
She lived all her life in Lubbock Texas.
Born: July 11, 1911
Died: March 27, 1997 at Lubbock
Married: Herbert Colman (HC) Tims
Daughter of: Robert Ross Prather and Maggie Owens
She was the only daughter and had four brothers:
Arless Loraine: born June 20, 1916 died: June 9, 1960
Herman Ross: born April 7, 1917 (Living in Levelland Tx.)
R.M.: born March 24, 1919 died: Sept. 27, 1985
Jeff Davis (JD) born: May 14, 1921 died: Aug 16, 1990
I am the son of Herman Ross.

Prather Family Reunion at Pinon, New Mexico (not Old Mexico) 7 June, 1997
it will start at 10am at the community center. Its not hard to find
because there are only a few buildings in this old ranching town. Its
harder to find Pinon. Take US82 east out of Artesia NM about 50 miles.
Turn on NM 24 for about 30 miles. If you get lost you will soon end up
back in Texas. Its easier to come to Alamogordo and follow me. This
Prather line is the decendents of John Prather that held off the US Army
with a rifle defending his ranch If you can not make it, I will let you
know who all shows up and send you all the details.
