Hello

Could some one please answer a cople of questions ? I know the exact date my
great grandfather was born and his parents names. The problem is i don't know
the exact town in Hamburg he lived in. I have the address's for the 8
municipal districts that have birth certificates for 1878. My question is
should i write to each municipal district ? Should i send international
coupons ? Do you have to send money before they look for the birth
certificate ? Thank you for any help.
