Subject: [PRUSSIA] germans-as long as we're on the subject...
Date: Sun, 3 Oct 1999 18:50:26 -0500 (CDT)
we are reminded on every list that europeans pay more for internet-we're
scolded to be frugal with our emails, so i have hesitated to reply in
some cases. i am not computer savvy-is one email 10 sentences long more
expensive than 10 emails 1 sentence long,or vica versa or equal cost? do
you pay by the minute or the storage space or both? i am told by a
russian coworker that many people may be sharing one computer address.
if i am slow to reply to someone and they keep checking for my response,
am i driving up their bill? that is, connection fee each time they sign
on? i sincerely have wanted to see this addressed.
angie
p.s.i'm emailing someone in berlin-his english grammar is better than my
german grammar, but my german spelling is better than his english
spelling! in german, do i still use "mormon" "latter day saints" or is
there a german version? thanks
