Not sure of this but I do not believe that Bavaria was ever
part of Prussia as other areas also resisted the "Prussian
influence." But, after 1871 it would have been part of
"Germany" when it became official.
A quick history lesson of a particular area of Prussia/Germany
can usually be found on the Google site.
