BTW - it WAS NOT Bonnie Barnes I was talking about! There are a zillion people on the
GENUKI List, including several in Perth, Western Australia who have never, ever heard of
Washington State (but I sure they would care deeply if they did know).
When I lived in Europe, I just told anyone who asked that I was from San Francisco.
Folks back then only seemed to know 3 American cities - New York, New Orleans, and San
Francisco. I figured S.F. at least got me on the right coast.
