Subject: Windows Explorer LOCKS my computer HELP

Although not directly genealogy, I am greatly limited with genealogy since
Windows immediately locks up my keyboard, CPU, and monitor when the Windows
Explorer screen first appears. Only two things work: (1) push the reset
button or (2) turn off the power and then again power up.

The HORRIBLE thing is that this crash and reset caused my genealogy program
(The Master Genealogist) to crash. The TMG "repair.exe" can not fix the
problem. The TMG tech support team is in San Diego at GenTech 2000.

Can anyone offer help for this genealogy addict?

I suppose that I could work in the yard, work on taxes (ugh), clean the
garage (double ugh), vacuum the house, etc.
