Tell me about your Walling Branch. My husbands branch goes to Joseph Wallin
and Susan Cook. They came to america in 1840, My husbands line was John T
Wallin, who married Tempie Carter. There eldest was John Carter Wallin, who
changed it to Walling about 1900. They lived in Napa Ca. Moved to Seattle
Washington about that time, he was a musican, and opened a piano store down
town
. There were other Wallin(g)s that came north also, Richard I think went to
Portland. But he also returned to Ca. He was know as Will Walling the actor.

I have alot of stuff on them unti Joseph, and I have never found Joseph and
Susan. Only John T (fought in Civel war from Iowa) death obit mentions them.
