Hello, List People -
You are all invited to attend an exciting event to be held Thursday,
October 25, 2007 at Lynnwood's Heritage Park!
The Lynnwood Historical Commission is pleased to announce that a plaque
will be dedicated identifying the Wickers Building in Heritage Park as
one of Lynnwood's historic sites. The plaque will be unveiled, and
Lynnwood Mayor, Don Gough, will speak at the ceremony scheduled for 2
P.M., at the Wickers Building, 19921 Poplar Way in Heritage Park.
After the ceremony, do take a few minutes to tour the park, and visit
the other historic features the park offers - the Alderwood Manor
Heritage Association's "Heritage Cottage" has a new photo display on the
old Alderwood School; the Interurban Trolley is always a big hit with
visitors; the refurbishing of the old water tower has begun AND
there'll be cookies for visitors at the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society's
library at Humble House!
If you have roots in south Snohomish County OR if you're just curious
about Alderwood Manor, don't miss this event!
