Hi All,
I am new to this list, and have enjoyed reading through some of your recent
archived messages. I may also have a connection to the Salem Witch trials
as a descendent of Rebecca Nurse (one of the innocent women who was hung).
At least that is what I am trying to verify. Surnames I'm researching are:
BOBBETT, HEATH, KINNEY (KENNEY, KINNE), NURSE (NOURSE), TOWNE, BRIGGS, and
ROBERTS, in MA, CT, VT, NY, and Quebec.

I originally got interested in genealogy more than 25 years ago because I
had a hunch that I had some Native American ancestors, and others in my
family have the same hunch. But, I have not yet been able to prove it. Has
anyone done any DNA testing to confirm their hunches? If so, what were your
results?

Pam
