Hi, I've been doing my geneology tree for about 2 years now. I am doing good on my father's side. However, on my mother's side her last name is Lopez Hernandez. My grandfather's name was known as Isabel Lopez. Years later I found out that it was Enrique Lopez. My mother talked about having relatives in Las Piedras, Humacao. My grandparents had to move to Humacao during the great depression, because they had a younger child that had a brain tumor and needed to make money to support him and the rest of the family. My mom said that they moved there from Barrio Caguitas, Aguas Buenas /Barrio Las Carolinas, Caguas and the rest of the children were left behind. My mom talked about this people in Humacao as being very "high class" because they were Spanish. My grandfather had strong Spanish features and my grandmother had strong INDIAN features. So families didn't had a good relationship. Let me know if you are interested in more details and I can check with my mom and get back to !
you. Email me at .
Good Luck!
