I also have Del Toro from Sabana Grande & Lajas. My grandfather was Otilio Ramos-Toro from Lajas. His parents were Jose Monserrate Ramos-Rodriguez married to Ramona Del-Toro-Ortiz from Santana, Sabana Grande. The parents of Ramona were Ramon Del-Toro-Cruz and Juana Francisca Ortiz-Perez, both from Santana, Sabana Grande. Let me know if these names sound familiar. CHances are is that we are somehow related. They say all the Del Toro's from Ponce to Mayaguez and up to Aguada are all related.

I have a yahoo group for the Lajas area called SALajenos and there are a few of us who are Toro from Lajas, Sabana Grande, Ponce and others. If anyone is interested we may be able to pool our resources and start finding some connections.
